Materials DONE. Website: UPDATED

I am happy to announce that all of my portfolio materials are finished to a point where I feel confident in sending them out! I have applied to probably 20 + companies in the past week. Now I wait. Also, my website has had a fairly large change and I hope you can appreciate the aesthetic that I am going for. It is very representative of my personality and I hope it shows and doesn't seem like a copout (I suck at flash okay SHUT UP).

CaREER fair.

Today was the career fair. after freaking out and getting my materials together for the past week, i feel that a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. The activision people were awesome...great advice from them, even though I don't think I had exactly what they were looking for. Image movers was cool too. I was upset that the new york companies didn't show, as I wanted to meet up with Charlex again to say hi. now it is time to get back to working on an actual good reel.

the reel will be up on the site...soon......................

more PotE update

coming along rather nicely i think,. today i will be making a low res mesh and generating the normal map...then texturing and rendering! all by thursday! and on top of that I have to model a statue for Photoreal, prepare turntables of some busts for my reel, begin writing my 8-10 page research paper for Arch. Hist. ...all for next wednesday!

Beast of the Earth

this character is one of the common enemies from my game idea. ..about 8 feet in height and with powerful arms and heavy armor around the upper body. I am undertaking this model in a different way than the elder. I am going by the method that Kevin Lanning of Gears of War fame does his models: high detail model, brought into maya or max, normal map generated for a low poly mesh, textures done for normal map.
